Elevators
An important area of activity of Atameken-Agro JSC is elevator services. Two agricultural holding companies provide services for cleaning,storage and primary processing of agricultural products at their linear elevators. The geography of elevator services includes one point in the Akmola and four in the North Kazakhstan regions: a total of five linear elevators.
The presence of its own elevator capacities allows JSC “Atameken-Agro” to carry out:
- loading, drying, cleaning
- quality improvement
- storage, shipment
of cereals, legumes and oilseeds with subsequent sale during the year.
The storage of crop in elevators is a guarantee of the preservation of their quality indicators, which are quite difficult to keep at a high level for a long period of time. The elevators maintain a certain temperature and humidity of the air necessary to preserve the quality of the harvested crop.
The capacity of Atameken-Agro JSC agroholding elevators storage in one installment is 192,900 tons:
- 22 silos (tanks) with a capacity of 5000 tons
- 20 silos of 3000 tons each
- 2 silos of 2000 tons each
- 2 operational warehouses of 3000 tons
- 25 operational tanks of different capacities
Such impressive capacities allow us to use elevators not only for internal operations, but also to provide elevator services to other companies in the agricultural sector. The undoubted advantage of our elevators is direct access to railway and automobile entrances.
