Seed production
The Atameken-Agro agricultural holding began to develop seed production in 2006. The goal of seed production is to maintain a set of traits and the best economic and biological indicators of crop varieties. Two seed farms - “Atameken-Agro Korneevka” and “Atameken-Agro Timiryazevo” produce 9 varieties of seeds of popular agricultural crops, such as soft and durum wheat, flax, and in the future - peas and lentils. The factories use both proprietary and traditional technologies.
“Atameken-Agro-Korneevka” works using the innovative technology of the Ukrainian industry leader “Fadeev Agro”, which uses gentle fractional processing and the selection of strong seeds that have high yields due to their uniformity and the absence of microtrauma. The plant specializes in the production of durum and soft wheat and allows the production of seeds with a volume of 4-5 tons/hour and a total capacity of 160 tons/day.
Strong seeds meet all of the following requirements:
- absence of macro- and microtraumas
- large
- identical in size and shape
- heavy
- treated with various drugs and inoculants
The Atameken-Agro-Timiryazevo plant has been operating using traditional technology since 2008 and produces seeds with high quality indicators, thanks to constantly updated equipment, in particular the Austrian technologies of the CIMBRIA brand. Seven varieties of grains and oilseeds (wheat and flax) are available for purchase at this plant.
All seeds produced by Atameken-Agro JSC have certificates of conformity and undergo certification, guaranteeing high quality and productivity. In the near future, the production capacity of the plants will fully satisfy the needs of the holding's crop growing companies and reach the export level.
