Atameken-Agro Specialists Awarded Medals on the Day of Veterinary Service and Livestock Industry Workers

A ceremonial event dedicated to the Day of Veterinary Service and Livestock Industry Workers was held in Astana. The event brought together members of the Government, representatives of the scientific community, farmers, executives of agricultural enterprises, and industry veterans from across Kazakhstan.
On behalf of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov,Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin congratulated the participants.
“Livestock farming is one of the key sectors of agriculture and plays a vital role in ensuring the country's food security. On the instruction of the Head of State, the Government has approved Comprehensive Five-Year Development Plans for the livestock and veterinary sectors. These plans will serve as the foundation for the modernization of the industry, improving its efficiency and competitiveness,” the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov also addressed the participants: “This year, we are honoring specialists from both sectors together, which is highly symbolic. Modern livestock farming and a strong veterinary service are inseparable. Together, you represent one of the most important sectors of Kazakhstan’s economy.”
During the ceremony, Aidarbek Saparov presented a medal to Yerken Baigenzhin, Atameken-Agro Veterinarian. Mr. Baigenzhin was recognized for his significant contribution to maintaining animal health across the Company's farms, advancing the livestock sector, implementing modern disease prevention practices, and improving herd productivity.
In addition, medals will be awarded to Yerik Kusainov, Atameken-Agro Shukyrkol Chief Livestock Specialist, for his active contribution to improving livestock management technologies, breeding programs, and operational efficiency, as well as to Saulet Meyramov, Atameken-Agro Timiryazevo Livestock Team Leader, for his effective organization of production processes, ensuring herd preservation, and achieving outstanding production results in livestock farming.
