Atameken-Agro Increases Elevator Storage Capacity in North Kazakhstan Region by 50,000 Tonnes
On August 25–26, 2026, Atameken-Agro JSC opened modernized grain elevator facilities at Atameken-Agro-Tselinny LLP in the village of Chistopolye and Shatilo i K LLP in the village of Presnovka, North Kazakhstan Region. The projects increased the total one-time agricultural product storage capacity by 50,000 tonnes.
Storage capacity at Shatilo i K LLP was increased by 30,000 tonnes, while capacity at Atameken-Agro-Tselinny LLP was expanded by an additional 20,000 tonnes.
The projects form part of Atameken-Agro’s systematic modernization of its production infrastructure and are aimed not only at expanding storage capacity but also at accelerating the intake, cleaning, drying, conditioning, and shipment of agricultural products.
Chistopolye: Storage Capacity Reaches 72,000 Tonnes
On August 25, the new complex was officially opened at Atameken-Agro-Tselinny LLP in the village of Chistopolye. The ceremony was attended by Akhan Dyusembayev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Atameken-Agro JSC; Zhanat Ayaganov, Director of the enterprise; and representatives of Atameken-Agro Stroy LLP and FAMSUN.
Akhan Dyusembayev noted that expanding the company’s own grain elevator capacity is an important part of the holding company’s technological development.
“This project incorporates the most advanced storage, processing, and drying technologies. For the first time, we have used noise-reducing fans and a more powerful aspiration system that will enable us to meet all environmental requirements. For Atameken-Agro, this is an important step toward further improving the technological sophistication and efficiency of its agribusiness,” Akhan Dyusembayev noted.
Following the modernization, the one-time storage capacity of Atameken-Agro-Tselinny LLP reached 72,000 tonnes, making it one of the largest grain storage facilities in the region.
According to Zhanat Ayaganov, Director of Atameken-Agro-Tselinny LLP, the project made it possible to address not only production-related but also infrastructure-related challenges.
“Alongside the modernization of the production complex, we improved the access roads and internal roadways, which has significantly facilitated the movement of freight vehicles and the enterprise’s operations as a whole. Previously, difficult ground conditions made grain intake particularly challenging, especially after rainfall: vehicles would get stuck, the workload on employees would increase, and production processes would slow down. Today, the upgraded infrastructure enables the grain elevator to operate reliably under virtually any weather conditions,” said Zhanat Ayaganov.
He also congratulated the company’s employees on the completion of the modernization and thanked all the specialists involved in implementing the project.
Presnovka: Automation and New Production Capabilities
On August 26, the modernized grain elevator complex was opened at Shatilo i K LLP in the village of Presnovka.
The ceremony was attended by Azamat Bektasov, Akim of the Zhambyl District of North Kazakhstan Region; representatives of the management of Atameken-Agro JSC; Adam Oleg Erikhovich, Director of Shatilo i K LLP; the management of Atameken-Agro Stroy LLP; FAMSUN specialists; and other project participants.
Importance for the District
Azamat Bektasov, Akim of the Zhambyl District of North Kazakhstan Region, highlighted the importance of modernizing agricultural infrastructure for the district’s economy.
“For a district where agriculture is one of the leading sectors of the economy, the implementation of such projects is particularly important. Every year, our agricultural producers invest tremendous effort and resources in growing and harvesting crops, and our shared task is to create the necessary conditions for preserving and efficiently marketing the produce,” Azamat Bektasov noted.
Particular attention was paid to automation during the implementation of the projects. The main process equipment is controlled from a single automated center—essentially, as Adam Oleg Erikhovich, Director of Shatilo i K LLP, noted, “from a single control panel.”
At the same time, digitalization does not mean diminishing the role of the company’s employees.
“Automation does not eliminate human involvement in the production process. On the contrary, as storage capacity increases, so does the overall workload—from receiving and conditioning grain to storing and subsequently shipping it. The new equipment makes it possible to carry out this work faster, more accurately, and with greater technological efficiency,” emphasized the Director of Shatilo i K LLP.
Both enterprises primarily employ residents of nearby rural communities. Therefore, the modernization of grain elevator infrastructure also has social significance: it helps preserve jobs in rural areas and ensures the stable operation of the enterprises.
Joint Project with FAMSUN
Both enterprises were modernized using state-of-the-art technological equipment supplied by FAMSUN (China).
The technical solutions allow several key operations to be performed simultaneously, reducing the time required for products to pass through the grain elevator and increasing the complex’s overall productivity.

Thanks to our joint efforts and the well-coordinated work of our teams, we were able to overcome the challenges encountered during implementation and successfully complete the project. The new complexes combine modern technological solutions, automation, and the ability to perform key production operations in parallel, which will significantly improve the efficiency of the grain elevators,” Dylan Nie noted.
