Chairman of the Management Board of Atameken-Agro JSC Spoke at an International Conference in Moscow
On June 4, 2026, the International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled "Machine and Technological Support for Agriculture in the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union" was held in Moscow at the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy.
The event became a respected platform for constructive dialogue on priority issues related to the development of agricultural engineering in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. The conference brought together academicians and corresponding members of national academies of sciences, renowned researchers, manufacturers and dealers of agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as representatives of government authorities and businesses from the EAEU member states.
During the conference, Kintal Kintalyevich Islamov, Chairman of the Management Board of Atameken-Agro JSC, shared practical experience in improving the efficiency of agricultural machinery utilization through the digitalization of production processes.
"Our fleet of agricultural machinery is primarily composed of foreign-made equipment. In 2017, we operated more than 600 units of machinery for planting, crop protection, and harvesting activities. However, through the digitalization of production processes, the implementation of modern management systems, and the detailed regulation of business processes, we have significantly improved the efficiency of machinery utilization. The use of auxiliary equipment, particularly grain carts and other technological solutions employed during sowing and harvesting campaigns, played an important role in this achievement. As a result, we have nearly halved our demand for combines and seeding complexes while improving overall production performance," noted Mr. Islamov.
During his speech, he emphasized the importance of developing the production of auxiliary equipment aimed at increasing labor productivity and reducing capital expenditures. Despite the reduction in the number of machinery units in operation, expenditures on spare parts remain high. This is due to fluctuations in exchange rates as well as increased logistics costs caused by changes in the global political environment. In addition, a proposal was made to establish incentive mechanisms encouraging suppliers of foreign agricultural machinery to purchase components and spare parts manufactured within the Eurasian Economic Union by involving EAEU enterprises in industrial cooperation.
According to Kintal Kintalyevich Islamov, the implementation of such initiatives would help create sustainable demand, ensure the utilization of production capacities, improve product quality, and strengthen the technological security of the EAEU member states.
